I am going to need the Northern Hemisphere summer to do the Greenland/Iceland route. Mid 2023 looks like my first possible window. I still don’t have the plane’s engine although its due soon. Avionics are nearer the end than the start but there is still a huge amount of work to do overall before the first flight.
The Covid pandemic is somewhat settled and I’ve had 4 vaccines to date. That doesn’t make anyone immune but the chance of severe disease is certainty minimised as much as science can at the moment.
This route came from a VERY helpful and experienced ferry pilot. Thank you James! The route through the USA is not yet decided as is the return within Australia.
