You know when somethings not right? That would be my wing cores. After all the work trying to get them correct to the spar the wings are not… and not identical.
This is the time to fix it… when its still relatively easy. I MUST have correct straight wings with the designers washout and water lines per plans and correct sweep and dihederal. The long parts of both wings are OK although one of them needs a little dressing on the top sheer web to be made straight. Easy.
The issue is the placement of FC1 on both wings is not correct. The plan is to cut FC1 at the join on the left wing as its not right. Then set up the right wing on the floor and confirm if its correct or otherwise.
With the left wing back in the jig I made some simple templates to ensure a straight cut. Michael came over with his Japanese pull saw and we did the deed.
