The wing cores have been purchased from Eureka cores and CnC cut to shape. However instead of having 5 pieces per wing, 16 pieces have arrived so it could all fit in smaller boxes.
There is a bit of joining required and this needs to be accurate just as the winglets which I did a few days ago needed joining.
Instead of a jig this time I used long hat pins as the pieces were not that big and easy to work with on this part which is FC5 in the plans.
This was made up of the pieces LWG 8 LWG 13 LWG 9
My task is to get these all together, then make some templates to ensure these cores are the same as the plans so that I can go ahead with making the wing jigs and get these cores together. I’m not really ready for making wings but what do you know… here it comes.
