This took a few days as usual. I moved the bench and reset all the wing and spar dimensions using tape on the floor. Then came a few hours getting the spar set perfectly and then the wing next to it.
All I really wanted to know was that the spar in position is slightly smaller than the wing, meaning when its all set up I might have a little micro to add to get the spar to line up but not the other way around. I’m a bit over all this, its such a fine measurement until you do it for real. I was worried I got the right wing wrong when I glued on FC1. If so its not too far out and I decided just to get on with it. The wing building that is.
Pic 2 has the right wing roughly in the jig. I’ll do it spot on after the hardpoints are done. I wanted to see what the working height was like. I have a good foot stool to stand on but wanted one half the height and really stable.
A search around my workshop found a few old bits of wood and an hour or so later I have something to stand on. OK its was nearer two hours…. and a bit.
