The last month or so I’ve been doing the fill and fair on the bottom side of the plane.

This scoop and getting it all to fit was challenging. I should have joggled the bottom as I was doing it all to reduce the fill required. It was only a little extra but every gram of weight should be saved where possible.

Getting the cowl to fit has been very challenging too. Its not quite perfect yet but on the way and enough for now.

The gear leg fairings are needing a little more work. Not too bad however.

In fact I’ll do the top side of the gear fairings when the plane is right side up. Easier that way.

I did filling down towards the top side and will finish off when we flip it. The strakes have been a huge challenge.

With the engine mount back on we have handholds for getting her on her feet again.

Yes I know!  Time for a good clean up in my work area.
