This is over a couple of days. The jig wasn’t quite straight at the back so I made a couple of uprights to hold it square. The jig materials are not perfect and I’d use something dead straight next time.
The 6mm base foam was sized exactly and then micro joined together as in Pic 2. I took my time. Once cured I left the base in the jig untouched and began with the 1″ thick pieces for the front and back.
In this log I’m referring to front/back/sides as they relate to the jig. In reality thats not how they are referred to in the plans which is relative to the aircraft but that would be even more confusing here.
