A few smaller jobs today. It still took all day… of course.
Flox corners for the two spar ends, micro over the large foam area too, but not in that order. Micro first very carefully, then pure epoxy in the trough, then the flox then the BID layed up on foil and I peel plyed the ends.
The other similar job was to cut the 2.25″ diameter access hole. This also got the flox corner treatment and a little piece of BID as you can see in pic two.
You can also see the end sections of the spar caps which look quite nice.
Finally I VERY carefully finished off the baggage cutout and did the edges from 80 grit to 800 grit and then scotch brite so those edges should stand up to a bit of use.
Just have the conduit 1″ end holes to go and a bit of a clean up for this spar. It sounds good when you tap it.
