The last little layup is a piece of BID over the internal hardpoint you can see in pic one. I mixed some flox for the edges to get a smooth transition. Its not in the plans to do this…I spose after you have built a wing you know this is needed. Say no more. The plans are a cookbook anyway.
Pics two and three are me showing off. Look I built a wing!
Oh yeah, and I cleaned up more edges, smoothed out a lot of the leading edge transition and it all took most of the day…again.
Weight you ask? 46.5lbs Spot on for a very light aeroplane.
I’ll get some help tomorrow stowing this wing on my wall rack and get the foam down to get moving on the left wing. Its going to feel good to have both done and then move on to the canard.
The left wing has 5 huge layups that I need at least one partner for. All the in between bits and prep work I can manage. Bring it on!
