With luck this is starting to make sense. Two foam pads on the back of the strut cover. Secured with screws at both ends (or will be) and screws with springs in the middle.
Pic 1 should help with what I’m doing. Pic 2 shows the rear end with the packer and fillers in place. I have hot glued them for now. I still have to flox that wheel and fitting onto the strut. This needs to be done so that the axle lines up with the mains axles, so a job for later. Once the foot is on for good I can add screws and nut plates to the gear door end instead of the hot glue.
Pic 3 shows it all sitting perfectly level…except for the area I joggled. Its going to be fine. Trust me 🙂
