The install of the pitot headed head took some thought but was straight forward in the end.

I installed a clickbond with West System flox and then two plies of BID over the top. This doesn’t weigh much and is super strong.

I settled on an Adel Clamp WDG 7. For the final install of the pitot I’ll use some high temp RTV to secure the nose piece into the forward facing tube. It will be rock solid. That’s it until I get a few more avionic boxes in the nose and after that I’ll work out the best place for the heated pitot electronics.

Here’s how it fits with the nose light in place. There is clearance for the light to move and the pitot to exist there. Its been quite a journey to place these together.
