This process has been described as herding cats. Pretty funny…and correct.
I’m just at the start of it with a rough initial setup. I’ve now added to the jigs as you can see in pic 3 so they are easily adjusted, there is a nut and washer on the bottom as well as the top and it seems pretty stable which easy to adjust by hand.
Pic 2 shows my flying Long-EZ in the background which is in for a bit of engine work. This will probably slow things down as I’m allowed to do supervised work on the plane with a LAME present. This is a great privilege as I’ve been learning a lot this way over the past few years.
I’ve put the HF antenna right where the join goes. Opps. So I have to sort that out carefully before my first mock lining up. I need to check that the hardpoints are in the right spots and that the first holes in the CS spar with be in the right place. I expect a lot of log entries to come on this.
