I have braided pipe that needs a clean cut. I found this method on a YouTube video.

Use a wide cable tie next to where you want to make your cut.

Get an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel and make the cut next to the cable tie.

Remove the cable tie and you have a pretty clean cut with out all the braided wire coming apart. Nice.
