It took a bit to get the floxed consoles off despite all the release tape. Its just spending the time and being careful. Pic 1 shows the bracket layout. Perhaps there will be some center top ones later. The stick area feels pretty solid despite the way it appears in Pic 2. Once the console is in, it doesn’t move.
I spent some time cleaning up the excess flox around the brackets. You could argue for a couple of ply of BID over these but I feel its very strong now. Sanding down to the metal, realodyning in-situ and then more glass would be tidier but not necessarily better and certainly not lighter.
Pic 3 shows the consoles in place. I’ve countersunk the screw holes which had the flox insert in that area. The loads are in shear so no need for this to be overly tight anyway.
