Build start DEC 1 2011
Today is DEC 1 2012
One year on. The fuselage is nearly ready for glassing. I look forward to getting in it and making engine noises. The landing brake is built and will be fitted with its actuator once chapter 7 is completed.
The landing bow has been glassed and NG30’s are made. A lot of decisions have taken place and much has been learnt. A few components have been sourced and purchased.
I’m still unhappy with the quality of some layups and will try vacuum bagging. So far its proving tricky. Bagging may be a very good way to do the wings, spar and canard.
This past year had many holdups, time away from building, a month overseas and of course a lot of flying. Who knows where I’ll be in another year.
