All the glass to glass areas had to be sanded completely dull. Its easier to peal ply before hand but I didn’t want the extra thickness when the brake outside was positioned on the fuselage.
Some creative clamping was required to flox the hard point and hinge in place. It turned out later that I had some epoxy creep in around the hinge and it was locked solid. That turned out to be a full days work to remove the whole hinge I has so carefully glued in place and then another day for a new piece to hinge to be cut to size and glued. Why tell you? Well its a place to be REALLY careful if you prefer doing things once.
The third pic shows that I’ve curved all the edges thinking about how the three plies of BID is going to lay down. Sharp corners will just make air pockets we don’t want.
