Here’s another little job that takes some thought and a few hours. I do a lot of these and don’t even document some of them.
This time it was where to put the control head for the coolant pump and fans. This is a set and forget after everything is working well. Until then it will need a bit of attention. I certainly don’t need this as a part of my instrument scan, not that I have any room for it!
I settled on that spot behind the regulators but I needed to angle the screen for easy reading. I also had to ensure that I could get all those wires plugged in. I didn’t want to use any other spots under the seat as that is reserved for possible ballast or even better, baggage items.
I used a scrap of foam, shaped it into an angle wedge then glued and glassed it in place.
Next up was fitting the mount. I used thick micro to glue the base and those screws.
A little grey paint and we are done. This is pretty enough for under the seat.
With the control head in place, this is one more item ready for wiring.
