I did this over many days, mainly when I had a bit of the fuel safe epoxy over. I have floxed the fittings in place both inside and out. You can see it all over the place in pic 1.
Yes I did carefully tidy up all the ugly overfill as you see in pic 2. Hey I might have to look at it even if my passenger never will and it is a little heavy so a bit of a grind was in order.
This is one of those items that are extra to the plans and so just more weight. Mind you, I have given myself permission to add weight whenever I can make the fuel system more reliable and safer. A common fuel vent manifold qualifies.
Finally the two caps were floxed on and I again did a clean up after the cure as you see in Pic 3. Now it will be put aside until I have the strakes built and I’m feeding vent lines into the rollover.
