Today was aileron rib day. 0.4″ had to come out of both ends and as usual the two dremels got a workout. Having two means I can go from one bit to another without changing which speeds up the workflow a little.
Once the ends were ready, it was micro on the blue foam and then stiffer micro to transition the edges and some pure epoxy on the glass to glass. I did the layups on foil and they took a lot of ice cream stick work to get things sitting down while I trimmed the edges. Lots of prodding with those sticks. Another day on the build.
Slow grind to 0.4″
