Finally I’m sticking on a baffle. A perfect job to do with a wing on.
Simple enough. Mark it out, cut it out, glue it on.
I decided to space the baffle two mixing sticks from the wing. Maybe thats a big gap, I have visions of putting the wing on and with too close a tolerance find the baffle getting badly damaged. So a little prevention to give a small margin seems prudent.
I’ve floxed the baffle on and given it one two ply tape in the corner. After cure I’ll add a temporary stringer to keep it strong. Later it will get a slopped piece half way and shaped so I can make a little access pocket underneath for mounting a magnometer. Beyond that it will be all fuel.
