I’m going to join the wings to the spar and then that assembly to the fuselage. Its not quite plans but this is outlined ion the CP’s and is the accepted method. Well I accept it anyway.
My good friend Darren showed with car and trailer and I’m pretty lucky with the airport destination nearby we were done in a few hours. We sort of nutted out how to do it on the spot. I had a huge block of urethane foam that was very handy between the wings so we could just lash across them. The CS Spar sat on the block too. Looks odd but was stable for the trip.
The last pic has the #4 wing jigs augmented with support pieces and a few I made up. I have to get these things lined up so I thought a few jigs might be a start rather than blocks of foam jammed under things. It may come to that…we’ll see.
No hours for the build log, just as sweeping and vacuuming the floor doesn’t count…maybe the jigs do but this thing is already taking too long.
