4.2 With FC4/5 and FC2/3 positioned the CS spar can be raised or lowered to exactly match heights. This can take a while as it must be leveled each time it is moved up or down.
4.3 Use sticks etc to ensure the spar cap levels and the wing surfaces are going to be a perfect fit, upper and lower. Mine needs 1mm or so off the top flat area blended back towards the center (BL 0) and it needs the spar troughs deeper.
4.3 If not already done (I still have to do this) work out the spar cap depths using cloth layups and ensure the final trough depth is going to be the same or deeper than the tops of the wings
5. Once happy with the spar position, tape these down so that they will not move.
6.1 Make a shim or use a piece of wood .6″ thick as long as FC1. Tape this to the spar as a spacer for positioning FC1 so that we have left enough room for extra layups and the bolt inserts.
