The NG30’s require thick glass pads to be inlayed into locations where bolts hold the nose gear. Plans say to carve a hole and layup straight onto the NG30.
I’ve done the 15ply layup separately. I’ll route the holes then cut my glass also routed to shape and fit them with flox. It will be the same or better in strength and a neater job.
I used two glass plates and some weights for the cure to ensure things were flat and air squeezed out.
