This was done over a few days. Screws were placed in the brake rather than clecos and holes drilled out on the hinge. Temporary fasteners are used for now.
This step is about getting the brake fitting flush. I built little dams at the hinge edge for micro to fill in that area and added small steel spikes for a little strength as shown in the first pic.
Then I filled with very dry micro, added some glad wrap as a release and let it set. It lifted out pretty easily but more micro was needed. What I had not done was allowed for some paint and filler.
That’s OK, I dremeled out plenty of micro for another try.
