Fitting the firewall took some time. It requires three holes each side for the longerons to penetrate. These may well need adjusting to get the whole fuselage staright. Its a start.

The front seat was also fitted both side. It will be 2″ forward of plans to give an improved CofG given a larger engine planned and smaller modern battery. There will also be a little more room for the passenger. Testing in JZE has shown this position is Ok for someone my height.

JZE is my flying Long-EZ if I haven’t mentioned it before.

For the first time the project briefly had a 3D look rather than just flat parts.
